Large-Scale Renovation: SoHum Mountain Healing Resort

SoHum Mountain Healing Resort in Asheville, NC offers Ayurvedic healing retreats and therapies, lodging, dining, and now a spa.

This large-scale commercial renovation of treatment rooms and restrooms, lobby and gift shop, executive guest suites, and offices resulted in what we aimed to be a peaceful yet engaging space for the patrons of SoHum.

New Build Development: Reynolds Mountain Villas

Buchanan Commercial has been hard at work on the highly anticipated second phase of Reynolds Mountain Villas. This new chapter showcases exceptional craftsmanship, outstanding views, and one-of-a-kind convenience.

Reynolds Mountain Villas offer panoramic mountain views, 3-4 bedrooms, 1,850-2,250 sq. ft., and customizable, luxury finishes starting at $1,150,000. Crafted with precision and care, these homes are a true masterpiece of exceptional quality. Built on iconic Reynolds Mountain, these premium villas deliver the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, lock and leave convenience, and easy access to vibrant, downtown Asheville.

Upfit: Maaco Auto Body Shop & Painting

Earlier this year, our Commercial division gave this recently-opened 12,000 sq. ft. Maaco an upfit by prioritizing functionality, aesthetic appeal, long-term value, and future scalability.

The result is a space that elevates the Maaco brand and supports the business goals of its owner, who opened this shop to offer high-quality, affordable auto painting to fleet owners and the community.

Upfit: Alloy Fitness

We transformed a dated 2400 sq. ft. chiropractor’s office into a high-performance Alloy Fitness facility in just 75 days, showcasing our ability to deliver functional, high-quality spaces under tight deadlines.

This upfit of tenant space included:

• Full demolition of prior office layout

• Installation of durable LVP and rolled rubber gym flooring

• Reconfiguration of office and restroom areas

• QuietRock soundproofing for noise control

• Complete wall and ceiling repaint

• Integration of specialized workout equipment
